This World IBD Day the Swedish Stomach and Bowel Association

(SSBA) attended the annual national conference of gastroenterology

“Gastrodagarna” (Gastro Days),  in Gothenburg.

SSAB participated in a seminar providing the patient’s perspective in the

treatment of IBD, and our Chairwoman of the Board, Margareta

Röstlund, handed out scholarships in the amount of approx. 70 000

euros from our research fund that we co-own with the Swedish

Gastroenterology Association.

Our youth section ”Young Stomachs” also attended the conference as

exhibitors, promoting the awareness initiative #pratamage (Belly talk) as

well as a series of podcasts about young persons with IBD.
