The Türkiye IBD Association (İBHAYD) will mark World IBD Day 2026 on 16 May with a patient information event in Niğde, organised in collaboration with Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University and Niğde Training and Research Hospital.

As the only IBD patient association in Türkiye, İBHAYD will highlight the daily challenges faced by people living with Inflammatory Bowel Disease and the importance of early diagnosis, appropriate treatment, and increased public awareness. 

The programme will include expert sessions on psychosocial care, symptom management and quality of life, nutrition, and the role of social awareness in IBD.
