MCCBE (Hungary) will mark World IBD Day 2026 with a full-day in-person event in Budapest at the UP Rendezvénytér on 16 May 2026. 

The programme will bring together patients, healthcare professionals, and partners for a day focused on living with IBD and improving quality of care.

The event will feature expert-led presentations, an award ceremony, and small-group discussions with psychologists and mental health professionals. 

A dedicated section will focus on ostomy care, with contributions from surgeons, stoma care nurses, and patient representatives, alongside dietetic and pharmacological counselling.
