To mark World IBD Day, the Cyprus Crohn’s and Colitis Association will host a public awareness event on 16 May in Paphos, with Neapolis University’s Department of Psychology. 

Titled “Care Knows No Borders: IBD and Equality in Healthcare,” the event will explore the psychological impact of chronic illness and practical strategies for caregivers.

In parallel, the association is launching a video campaign aligned with the global World IBD Day theme: “Life with IBD shouldn’t depend on where you live.”

Supported by IFCCA, the campaign will feature patients from around the world sharing their country, condition, and daily occupation, highlighting inequalities in care.
