On 31 May, ASBL Crohn-RCUH (the French IBD patient association) will take part in the 20 km of Brussels, bringing together a team of 73 runners to raise awareness of IBD.
Patients, healthcare professionals, and supporters are joining forces to highlight the importance of community and visibility.
Location: Parc du Cinquantenaire, Brussels
Date: 31 May 2026
Participants have followed a personalised training programme developed with a physiotherapist and nutritionist, underlining the role of physical activity in living with IBD.
A stand will be present throughout the day at Cinquantenaire Park to welcome visitors.

CCV-vzw (the Flemish IBD patient association) will launch the IBD Checklist, a practical tool developed with patients and healthcare professionals.
The checklist supports people living with IBD in navigating their journey by helping them ask the right questions — from diagnosis to daily life and treatment decisions.
Date: 19 May 2026
Location: Flanders (digital and clinical settings)
Available as question cards and a digital PDF, the checklist will be distributed free of charge via hospitals and online platforms.
The launch will be supported by a digital awareness campaign to strengthen patient confidence, communication, and shared decision-making.
