Crohn’s & Colitis Australia will mark Awareness Month 2026 by turning up the spotlight on the cost of diagnosis delays – and highlighting just how life-changing prompt answers can be.
Throughout May, people can get involved by hosting local events, taking part in movement challenges, wearing purple, sharing awareness materials and personal stories, and volunteering.
Key moments include the Nurse Practitioner Scholarship announcement (15–17 May), the National Continence Health Conference (14 May), and “Australia Turns Purple” on 19 May, when more than 120 landmarks across the country light up in support of people living with IBD.
