Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) in Abu Dhabi proudly joined the global World IBD Day 2025 campaign under the international theme IBD Has No Borders. 

On 12 May, the hospital hosted a large awareness event on-site to mark the occasion.

The SSMC team set up a dedicated stand featuring local awareness initiatives and health promotion materials, demonstrating their strong commitment to raising awareness about Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and breaking the stigma surrounding it.
