This year, the Gastroenterohepatology Association of Montenegro (GAM), in collaboration with the Science Centre of the Clinical Centre of Montenegro and the Montenegrin Association for Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis (CUKUK), is hosting a special symposium under this year’s EFCCA's global theme: IBD Has No Borders – Breaking Taboos, Talking About It.

The event will take place on 19 May 2025 at 13:00 at the Science Centre of the Clinical Centre of Montenegro in Podgorica. 

Both adult and paediatric gastroenterologists will give informative lectures aimed at patients and healthcare professionals, and the president of CUKUK will also address the audience.

This initiative highlights the commitment of the Montenegrin IBD community to raise awareness, share knowledge, and help break the stigma around inflammatory bowel diseases.
