To mark World IBD Day 2025, Denmark will once again light up its largest bridge in purple, symbolising solidarity with people living with Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
A major physical event will take place on 19 May from 17:30 to 21:00, offering an engaging and visible celebration of awareness and community support.
Throughout May, Denmark is also running two GO-CARD campaigns to spread key messages about IBD. In addition, new materials from “The Framework for a Good Conversation Between Patient and Doctor” will be promoted on social media starting next week. Some of these resources will also be introduced as practical working tools to help improve communication and care between patients and healthcare professionals.
