This year, Digestive Disease Week (DDW), one of the most important events for gastroenterology clinicians, researchers and industry professionals are joining World IBD Day celebrations during its congress (18-21 May)!

The organisers are encouraging visitors to wear purple on 19 May to show their support for those living with IBD.

The first 3,000 attendees will receive a purple awareness ribbon and to kick off the day a breakfast will be offered in the Exhibit Hall at 9:30 a.m. (supported by Lilly USA).

Participants will also have the opportunity to visit a photobooth with a purple ribbon and hashtags #worldibdday2024 and #IBDhasNoBorders as a backdrop.

Moreover, there will be floor decals, a walk-in slide in session rooms and even a banner in the DDW app, all aimed at maximising the impact of this year's message!
