Društvo za KVČB, our member in Slovenia, is joining World IBD Day!

The main theme of this year's expert events put forward by the association is integrated care for IBD patients

On Saturday, 18 May, there was a walk around Šmartinsko Lake near Celje, where association members distributed leaflets about IBD to raise awareness of the condition.

On the same day, in Velenje, a lecture focused on the relationship between periodontitis and IBD was held, after which Vista Park by Lake Velenje, the largest event space in Slovenia, was illuminated in purple.

On 20 May, two stands at the University Clinical Center in Maribor raised awareness of the disease.

And on 22 May, the round table "Life with perianal Crohn's disease" took place in Ljubljana, with the participation of an abdominal surgeon, an IBD nurse, and Mateja Saje, president of the association.
