This year, the Slovak Crohn Club, the association of people with IBD in Slovakia, created an educational video to spread awareness of these diseases with a campaign called IBD Without Borders. 

IBD is not only limited to the digestive system, but also has extra-intestinal manifestations (joints, skin, eyes) and is also not limited by location, with more than 10 million people suffering from it worldwide. 

The Slovak Gastroenterological Society also joined the campaign by lighting the dominants purple.
