Mage-tarmforbundet, the association of IBD patients in Norway, joined the events for World IBD Day 2024 worldwide.
In their "My Page" section on their website, the association has curated a collection of articles and webinars that delve into various aspects of living with IBD, exploring insights into managing the condition, advancements in medications, and information about the latest research findings.
It also offers the opportunity to discover personal stories, such as blogger TH's reflections on life with Crohn's disease.
Also, on 22 May, the association held an open lecture on the topic "Familial Factors and IBD", by consultant in gastroenterology at Vestfold Hospital Tone Bergene Aabrekk.
The lecture focused on exploring how sharing a household with someone with IBD affects the likelihood of other family members developing the condition and shared insights on the environmental and dietary implications in this context.
