The China Crohn's & Colitis Foundation organised several events for World IBD Day in order to show their support for IBD patients including educational events as well as a social media campaign to inspire patients and raise public awareness.

The social media campaign involved doctors/nurses/volunteers and people who care for IBD patients to only drink liquids during the day as their only source of energy in order to better understand the IBD patient's experience.
