This year, ASPIIR celebrated the World IBD Day by implementing wide-ranging IBD awareness campaigns in various big cities in different parts of Romania.

The campaign focused on local patient meetings aimed to create active patient groups as it is difficult for the ASPIIR team in the capital to cover all the regions. Resources for World IBD Day 2018 have been focused on meeting patients in Constanta, Southern Romania, near the Black Sea.

As a result of these lobbying and awareness campaign activities, some patients travelled from Iasi, Timisoara and Constanta to participate in the EFCCA General Assembly.
