The IBD Foundation, FEII Puerto Rico, joined the World IBD Day celebrations. Through the hashtag #PRsePintaDePurpura people were invited to use purple to raise awareness about IBD.
World IBD Day received institutional recognition with the House of Representatives and Senate and many other government buildings being lit in purple.
