Slovenian associatio for IBD (Društvo za KVČB) organized an event in order to raise awareness about this disease.

Association members from all parts of Slovenia had a meeting in Maribor, where they had lecture, guided tour around the city and than went with gondola on hilll Pohorje, where they had a hike to the lookout tower.

In the evening, they moved back to the city center, on Lent, where the members of the association distributed leaflets to the passers by.

Later they attend a comedy show, which was held by Cultural Association Pekre and the keynote speaker was the writer of the comedy, Tone Partljič, and the deputy mayor of the Maribor, mr. Saša Pelko.

The event was than closed with lighting the Judgement Tower in purple color, the color of a global campaign to raise awareness about IBD.
