Russia joined the World IBD Day in several cities.
In St. Petersburg, a conference involving representatives from the medical community, the patient organization "TRUST" as well as patients. The event was covered by media on TV and social Networks. Patients of the VZK center St. Petersburg took part in the annual half-marathon wearing purple World IBD DayT-shirts.
In Moscow, Children's IBD Center together with the ParentsĀ“ association of children with IBD hosted a series of events to inform about IBD. The School of Patients was timed to coincide with the World IBD Day together with a release of purple balloons into the sky.
In Ufa, our colleagues also organized an information event the release of purple balloons.
Finally, the PALACE BRIDGE in St Petersburg was lit in purple to join celebrations worldwide.
