Crohn's and Colitis New Zealand is promoting the results of the New Zealand IMPACT survey with a photographic exhibition in Parliament at the end of May. Sam Sword is a Christchurch based photographer with Crohn's disease.

He took a series of emotionally charged photos to graphically illustrate his journey with IBD. These moving photos emphasise the devastating statistics from the New Zealand IMPACT survey. Support groups will be raising public awareness of IBD in their regions, holding displays in shopping complexes and hospitals.”
