In Bulgaria, we celebrated the World IBD Day with two major events - an awareness raising campaign in the Sofia's center and a meeting open for discussions and exchange of opinions between doctors and patients.

On the 19th, through a provocative campaing that took place on two key locations in the Bulgaria's capital city, we attracted passers-by and provided them with leaflets and more information regarding IBD, its symptoms and the challanges patients with IBD face.

On the following day, the 20th, a meeting between doctors, nurses, patients and people generaly interested in or affected by IBD was sheaduled in one of the hospitals most active in IBD treatment in Bulgaria. Its aim: - to discuss and find ways to increase the quality of life of people affected by IBD.
