The IBD patient organization “Más Vida” has been constituted in September 2010 with the aim to promote and initiate studies, research and other types of activities that contribute to awareness raising of the disease and to improve the diagnosis, treatment and quality of life of IBD patients.

On 19 May Más Vida organized a press conference in Buenos Aires where journalists and mainstream national media were invited. Two gastroenterologist provided information about Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis, a patient testimonial explaining what it means to live with IBD in daily life.

The press conference took place in a horse riding school in Buenos Aires and journalists were invited to see for themselves how it feels to cope with a new situation. They were asked to ride a horse with the aim to draw an unusual parallel of the challenges faced of people living with IBD.
